The best supplement for training recovery

Essential fatty acids, ginger, and curcumin are all useful to mitigate inflammation and support healing. However, they are not even close to the power of systemic enzymes for improving workout recovery and pain relief. I started using systemic enzymes in the early 2000s. It took a few weeks to find the activation dosage but once I did it was undeniable. I noticed I wasn’t anywhere near as sore as normal after intense training sessions or long days teaching kettlebell workshops.

Over the years, I have used many brands such as Vitalzym and Sorenzyme but once I tried Excylzyme manufactured by AST Enzymes I knew this was the best option on the market. The primary benefit being I didn’t have to take as many caps to get the desired benefits. It is also a high-quality vegan friendly systemic enzyme blend made by a reputable company dedicated to producing a high-quality product.

I remember spraining my ankle in 2008 during a sprinting workout. Normally I would be limping around all week after such an injury, but fortunately, I had Excylzyme on hand and took five caps three times per day and the pain was gone in a few days. I definitely experienced benefits from other enzymes in the past, but none worked as rapidly.

As we get older our natural production of enzymes declines and it’s likely one of the reasons why we experience diminished recovery and longer healing timeframes from intense exercise. My audience like myself enjoys intense physical training and many are as obsessed as I am with hormone optimization. Well, you’re not going to optimize hormones when you have excess inflammation. Excess inflammation will cause a rise in cortisol and a rise in cortisol will diminish Pregnenolone, DHEA, and Testosterone which are all crucial hormones for vitality in both men and women.

My supplement line focuses on optimizing hormones so it made sense to have my own enzyme product. I don’t sell anything that I don’t use personally and given how I have benefited from using enzymes it was a no-brainer to offer enzymes to my audience. In 2013 after the success of ASTB, I decided to expand my supplement line to include systemic enzymes and had them private label their blend for me. This is how Restorezyme entered the marketplace. Folks that deal with any physical pain, or gut health issues, or want enhanced training recovery should add systemic enzymes to their routine. Forget about harmful Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, enzymes are much more effective for mitigating pain without the nasty side effects on your liver. Everyone should have a bottle of systemic enzymes in their medicine cabinet. Take a maintenance dose every day (6 caps) for the health benefits and then ramp up the dosage whenever you experience an injury or require enhanced recovery.

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Restorezyme, you can use coupon code “Restore” for 15% off any order. This offer expires on 6/27. Click below for more detailed info on Restorezyme
